First: Endocrine disorders.
It can be related to PCOS polycystic ovaries, premature ovarian failure, and insufficient progesterone. In addition, it may be caused by gynaecological diseases, such as uterine fibroids.
Second: Too much stress
When under stress your body produces cortisol. And it can wreak havoc on the pituitary glands and ovary interaction and result in irregular periods.
Third: Excessive body fat
Being overweight can also affect your menstrual cycle. Excessive body fat will produce excess estrogen, which will thicken the endometrium. But a drop in estrogen and progesterone causes menstruation. Therefore, if estrogen continues to be too high, our period will be delayed, or the menstrual cycle will be inaccurate.
Forth: Sudden drop in weight
Excessive or sudden weight loss can cause your periods to stop. Severely restricting the amount of calories you eat stops the production of hormones needed for ovulation.
